Are you keeping in touch with your customers? Communication is vital, especially during a worldwide pandemic.   We are actively promoting our members through many of our online platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, our Chamber Blog, and our monthly newsletter.  Whether your hours are changing, your team is working remotely, or you’re operating as usual, it’s necessary to keep your customers informed. We recommend you spend the time to keep your social media and website current.  We can help you continue to develop, grow, and adapt your business.

None of this is possible without our Chamber AMBASSADORS.  They are the most enthusiastic volunteers. These volunteers devote their time to help build member commitment and raise the business community awareness on the mission of the Chamber. A special thank you to Carolyn Self and Sandy Davidson, VP Branch Manager of TowneBank-Grandy, for all their hard work.

This month has been a busy month with many new members joining.  We would like to welcome Atlantic Water Services, Inc of Corolla, NCWorks Career Center, Moyock Farm Market, Platinum Painting, VooDoo, LLC Web Design  and The Hughes Agency, Inc.  Check out our Business Directory to find a list of new businesses in your area.

We would like to thank Kaylee Bynum, Founder and President of Peaceful Waters Counseling and Wellness Center for presenting our June Roundtable discussion. Kaylee presented the Enneagram personality theory.  It was spot on for our co-workers.  This assessment helps you understand how to work with different personality types.  Knowing how to work with different personality types can make for a much better working environment. If you would like Kaylee to present to your business or learn more about Peaceful Waters Counseling and Wellness Center, please visit her website at
