Cooking is one of the most important life skills a person can learn. Being able to go in the kitchen and make a basic meal for yourself or your family is very rewarding. It is a skill that even some adults have trouble with because they were never brought in the kitchen as a child and taught the basic skills they needed to be comfortable in the kitchen.

Currituck County 4-H is hosting “Cooking Brunch with Cloverbuds'' for youth ages 5 to 7 years old on January 29, 2022 from 9:00 am until 11:30 am. Youth will prepare a breakfast casserole, egg frittatas, and smoothies. As they prepare these recipes, they will also learn about kitchen safety, basic nutrition, and the importance of starting your day with a healthy breakfast.

To register your 5 to 7 year old for this fun and interactive workshop please visit https://cloverbudbrunch.eventbrite.com . There is a $10 registration fee for this class. This can be paid through the eventbrite or you can pay with cash or check at NC Cooperative Extension Currituck Center located at 120 Community Way, Barco NC 27917. If you are paying with cash or check please make payment within 5 days of your registration.
