The June report from the Outer Banks Association of Realtors shows that the Outer Banks experienced record closings this year, more than double the June 2019 numbers. At the same time inventory is down 30% over last year*. Interested buyers are focusing on new construction more than ever and with two new communities in Corolla – SAGA is ready to fill that need.
SAGA introduced two new phases in the community of Soundfront at Corolla Bay starting in May 2020. The first, phase with multiple soundfront sites quickly sold out within 60 days. The second phase has just been released for sale with soundfront and semi-soundfront sites on the Currituck Sound offering custom home packages starting in the low $500 thousands. The community features a substantial waterfront pier with kayak launch and easy access to the beach with private, community beach parking.
Corolla Shores is a brand-new oceanside community just across the street from Soundfront at Corolla Bay. With 17 homesites situated along a meandering road through a low dune, these luxury beach homes are conveniently located in the middle of Corolla. The model home, The Moongate, is a 6 bedroom, modern vacation-style home with expansive windows to capture the views of the Atlantic Ocean and Currituck Sound. With luxury amenities consisting of private pools, hot tubs, game rooms, gourmet kitchens and easy access to both the ocean and the sound, residents can enjoy a fun and relaxed getaway without ever getting back in their car.
For added convenience, both communities sit directly adjacent to the future midCurrituck Bridge and new retail has started along Highway 12 between the two communities, offering even more walkable activity.
“The beautiful Corolla location along with the thoughtfully designed floorplans have been popular among second homeowners wanting a beach oasis and escape from their urban lifestyle. When the future bridge is built, it will allow additional convenience and less travel time for owners and guests. The investment homes have enjoyed a recordbreaking year along with phenomenal projections for the new homes being constructed that will enter the vacation rental program. We are offering a great value for both second homes and investment properties, which is why we have seen such a strong response of 10 sales in just 60 days!” Explains Debbie Gabbert, Director of Sales for SAGA.
“After 15 years in Corolla, testing the market, we have been able to perfect our home plans ensuring absolute efficiency for the highest return on investment. The homes feel luxurious and the furnishings are well-appointed and substantial. Every inch of the home is usable space including the outdoor living area.” Explains Sumit Gupta, CEO of SAGA Realty and Construction.
The Model Home at Corolla Shores will be open daily from 11-4 and provide sales information for both communities.
