Shannon Kinser , President
Shannon grew up in Currituck County and graduated from CCHS in 1996. She attended college at the University of North Carolina-Wilmington, and graduated with honors with a degree in Marketing and minor in Leadership Studies in 2000. In the fall of 2000, Shannon joined the Currituck Chamber as Marketing Director. Her title changed to Membership Services/Program Coordinator in 2004.
After a brief hiatus from the Chamber, Shannon rejoined the staff in the spring of 2007 as President. Her duties include general office management, bookkeeping, staff management, website maintenence and membership development and recruitment. Shannon works with the Board of Directors to plan and implement the Chamber's yearly programming, and schedules and executes all ribbon cuttings and Business After Hours events.

Mary Krawiec , Administrative Assistant
Mary joined the Chamber staff in the spring of 2007, after having been a Chamber Ambassador and member for several months. Mary and her husband, Kevin, have been residents of Moyock since July of 2005. They grew up in a small town, so to them, Currituck feels like being home again! "Thanks to all who have made us feel welcome!" says Mary.
Mary is responsible for answering all phone and email inquiries, maintaining the membership files and database, sending all member invoices and invitations, and assisting with the operation of the office.
Mary and Kevin have two grown children: Derek, 25, who is starting a new career in North Carolina, and Michelle, 22, who is a senior at ECU. |
