The end of the year is a time for family, joy, and reflection. This past year leaves us all with a combination of success and reflection--the bruises, the lessons learned, the great people, and the journeys of our business all combine to hopefully cast a light into the future.

This December, perhaps the most important thing you may consider as a leader is to pause for a moment and think about your plans for your own personal wellness this coming year. Taking care of yourself, in addition to your team, is a critical leadership competency over the long-term and one that has been brought into stark relief over the past months. While the physical piece of this seems obvious, we’ve also learned that mental wellness is just as important--self-awareness and self-reflection for mental wellness is a great addition to your toolkit moving forward.

Happy holidays and may you and your family have an abundant New Year!
