Competative Rates for Workers Comp Insurance
As a Currituck Chamber member, you get reduced rates on workers comp insurance through First Benefits Insurance. For more details and an informative brochure, contact the Chamber office.
The 300+ and growing members of the Currituck Chamber have a strong voice for lobbying on issues that are important to the community. The Chamber works hard to identify and meet the needs of its members by addressing issues in the areas of transportation, workforce development, economic development and education.
Chamber membership enhances your name and credibility in the eyes of your fellow citizens. Membership decals identify you as an investor in the community.
Expose your business to clients and customers and meet service providers at Business After Hours, Ribbon Cuttings, New Member Orientations, Chamber Committee Meetings, Ambassador Meetings, Community Involvement and the Currituck Business and Job Expo. The Currituck Chamber encourages member-to-member business to promote a healthly local economy.
We refer only Chamber members over the phone, at our office, or on the web. Chamber members also have access to our mailing list.
Each member is listed alphabetically and categorically on the web site and in the annual Currituck Chamber Guide directory. The Chamber Guide is distributed to every Chamber member, resident of Currituck County and included in relocation and new member packets.
Our monthly E-newsletter alerts members about issues and events affecting the business community and keep members informed and up-to-date on important issues and upcoming Chamber and community events.
Annual Meeting and Awards
In October we host our Annual Meeting and Awards Luncheon to share our accomplishments for the past year as well as honor our members with the Small Business Awards.
Seminars and workshops of interest to small businesses are held throughout the year.
Demographics, economic indicators, statistics, and more are provided to members and prospective businesses.
We work with members to provide discounts on essential services like printing, workers' comp insurance, computer repair, advertising, tax preparation, and more.
Business Council Forums
Held annually in each of the three areas of the county, the forums bring together business leaders from their respective areas to discuss issues relevant to them.
Ambassadors are volunteers who recruit and mentor potential and new members and promote Chamber programs, events, and activities.
Business and Community Expo
Held each year in March, the Currituck Business and Coummunity Expo gives businesses and organizations an opportunity to make themselves known in the community. Chamber members receive a discount on booth/table spaces at the Expo.
